We recently constructed four community solar arrays in the rapidly-expanding community solar market of Massachusetts, and now that this 5.4 MW portfolio is fully subscribed and starting to interconnect to the grid, Nautilus Solar Energy (Nautilus) will be taking over ownership of this portfolio while we continue to maintain the four arrays and provide customer support and billing services. (In addition to building community solar facilities, we also support other asset managers with key community solar program functionality like billing and customer care.)
Leading up to the acquisition, we provided customer acquisition, project development and construction management services. Nautilus, through its full-service platform, provided development capital and will be responsible for long-term asset management services and maintenance for the project. Moving forward, we will continue to deliver ongoing customer care and billing related services and subscribers will now have access to the best of both worlds in community solar experience – Nautilus’ expertise in Massachusetts community solar asset management, operations and maintenance, combined with our ability to deliver a seamless customer experience via our proprietary Community Solar Platform (CSP).
