At the annual Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (COSEIA) conference, Solar Power Mountain West, COSEIA applauded Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and senators Michael Bennet and Cory Gardner for their work opposing solar trade tariffs.
In 2017, all three elected officials were very vocal in their concern for the negative impact tariffs on imported solar panels would have on Colorado’s economy and the overall solar industry.
“Throughout the last year, these elected officials have supported Colorado’s 6,700 solar workers as our industry has faced some of it biggest challenges to date and they are well deserving of COSEIA’s 2018 Award for Outstanding Service by Elected Officials,” said CEC’s Justin Wilson, board policy chair for COSEIA.
